Keep the stone honest.
Crystals shift their character when they meet your skin, the city, the season. A few small habits keep them legible.
Daily wear is the point.
The bracelet is meant to be worn — your warmth and motion are part of how the stone settles in. Avoid storing it in a drawer for weeks; it does its work at your wrist.
Take it off for water, perfume, oils.
Aquamarine, kyanite, jade, and most softer stones lose lustre with hot water and detergent. Remove for showering, swimming, dishes; spritz fragrance first, then put the bracelet on.
Clean once a season.
Lukewarm water, a soft cloth, no soap. Dry on a flat towel. For a deeper rinse, the studio offers complimentary stringing inspection — write to concierge.
Sun is fine. Heat is not.
Most stones tolerate ambient sun on a windowsill. Direct heat — ovens, car dashboards in summer, hairdryers — can fade colour over time. Store flat, away from heat.
Knots are normal. Cuts are not.
If a strand frays or a knot loosens, send it back. Restringing is included for the first year — it’s part of the edition, not a service add-on.
Every gate uses a different lead stone, and each one wants slightly different care. The principles above always apply; these are the edge cases.
Will the colour fade?
What if the elastic loosens?
Can I wear two bracelets together?
A bracelet that looks worn is a bracelet that has been somewhere with you.
